The following is info regarding the next race. 2006 Cannon Ball Run
http://scootercannonball.com/ will provide some info on the event.
The Cannonball Run starts September 10, 2006 at Pacific City, Oregon and ends in Bloomfield, New Jersey at Scooters Originali 9 days later. We will meet up in Portland and then ride to Pacific City. We will take highway 20/26 whenever possible.
We believe that about 30 people will be racing/ riding in this event. The daily ride will be a group start and each day’s winner will be the first one to clock out.
For the 2006 race I will be riding a 2006 Vespa GTS250. There are 4 classes in this year’s event. The GTS falls into the stock automatic 251cc & under. There will be 3 other GTS 250s in the race so I think it will be a competitive class. In addition to the class - I plan to win the overall.
I will be adding the 2-gallon tank that I used in the 2004 race.
